John Brennan is Head of Institutional Sales and Relationship Management, Non Wire for Hartford Funds. In that role, he is  responsible for deepening relationships with the senior management of major firms, while coordinating sales efforts across Hartford Funds relationships with the professional buyer community, including large Registered Investment Advisors.

Prior to his current role, John served as Senior Vice President of Strategic Relationship Management (SRM) for The Wealth Management Division of The Hartford. John has led The Hartford’s Advisory Board of top wholesalers, and was responsible for wholesaler development through advanced segmentation training.

John joined the organization in 1992 as a Regional Marketing Director for New York City and the surrounding area. He was recognized in both 1994 and 1996 as wholesaler of the year. He then furthered his career by accepting a position in Hartford, Connecticut, where he was responsible for relationships with financial institutions, as well as product expansion and development. More recently, John was a recipient of the 2016 Hartford Funds President’s award.

John currently resides in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, with his wife Amy, and their four children, John Jr., Ashley, Bridget, and Christopher.
