Background

Nicholas Field is an Emerging Markets Strategist and Portfolio Manager for the Hartford Schroders Emerging Market Equity Fund.

He joined Schroders in 2006 from WestLB Asset Management where he was a Global Emerging Markets Fund Manager from 1999. Prior to this Nicholas worked at Dresdner RCM Global Investors as an Emerging Markets Fund Manager from 1996. His investment career started in 1991 upon joining HM Treasury.

Nicholas earned a MA in Finance from the London Business School and a BA (Hons) in Mathematics from Cambridge University.
